Cyprus, in comparison with other countries does not have a long history of classical music and musicians, but this is slowly changing and developing.  

There are many Cypriot musicians – instrumentalists, conductors and composers, who have been extremely successful and followed international careers in music. With the development and expansion over the years of classical music in Cyprus, many of these highly esteemed musicians have returned over the last few years to give concerts.
